Storyline/Synopsis: Zack (Seth Rogen) and Miri (Elizabeth Rogen) are two friends who are in desperate need of money. Their quest for earning money drives them towards making an adult film and they come across many hilarious situations and met many interesting people during the filming. Also, Zack and Miri discover a new trait of their friendship. They find out that they are not just friends as there is something that makes them more than just friends. But how would they discover it? What happens to the movie they are making?

Strengths: This movie written and directed by Kevin Smith is an unexpected, mature and absolutely funny piece of cinema. It is different and it is unusually good. Kevin Smith has improved a thousand times in terms of movie-making is concerned. Well Done Kevin! Acting wise, we thought that after the superb ‘Knocked up’, Seth Rogen won’t be able to get pass his best but as Zack, he is simply better than his best. He looks believable and is amazing. Elizabeth banks as Miri is too good and the chemistry between Zack and Miri is wonderful. All the actors have delivered their performances with absolute ease as well as perfection. Craig Robinson is fabulous and so is Jason Mewes. The movie has all the elements that justify the R rating yet you would have great fun if you just leave your brain at home and enjoy the movie.
Flaws: The biggest flaw in the movie is that it becomes a bit predictable (But not like any Porno). Also, the movie in the starting makes you feel as if it is testing your patience. Traci Lords and Katie Morgan could have been used a bit more. There are many other flaws but you would love those shortcomings as the movie is surely a good one but definitely not a great one.
Audience Verdict: Though the theatre was not a house-full (may be because we were at the morning show), yet those who were there had a jolly good time watching this Porno. Also, we noticed some under-aged audiences who somehow sneaked-in and laughed out loud watching this Porno. The Audience, who stayed till the end, gave ‘Zack and Miri Make a Porno’ a Thumbs Up and on an Average, the audience’s rating is **** stars i.e. Four stars out of Five.
Our rating for the Movie ***1/2 stars i.e. three and half stars out of Five. One for the superb direction by Kevin Smith, one for the awesome pair of Zack and Miri, One for the hilarious cast and another half for some really funny scenes that made the audience laugh out loud!
