Strengths:

As far the Plus point of the movie goes my rating would say it all, but one thing is sure that Love guru belongs to Mike Myers completely. He suited the character perfectly and his one-liners are a sheer delight. He is the show stealer.

Some gags are really hilarious the number of such gags is very less.

Justin Timberlake is just awesome as Jacques Le Coq Grande and the sight of Verne Troyer brings a smile to the face.

Romany Malco has done his role quite decently and Jessica Alba is looking stunning in Indian Costumes.

Flaws:

Well! The movie is full of loopholes. Be it the erratic screenplay, dull storyline, non-acting talent of Jessica Alba, rotten jokes and what not? Starting from Mike Myers, now it is absolutely clear that this man tries and tries hard enough to maintain his unique style of films. But this time he just messed up. No doubt that he is the show stealer but the credit for that goes to the casting director as no other actor except Justin Timberlake knows how to perform. The movie fails miserably in most of the departments.

The First time director Marco Schnabel, I guess would be under the influence of Myer and that may be the reason that ruined his debut.

My Ratings for the Movie *1/2 stars out of the Five, One Star because the movie is not as bad as I thought and another half because I like Myers style of movie making. Also it has been said that Mike Myers Movie fans don’t look at the reviews, so check out ‘The Love Guru’ at your nearest theatre.
