Strengths * Highly adventurous and entertaining * Stunning terrific special effects * Mind-blowing star cast * Fun-loving * A perfect holiday movie for the family * Great witty dialogues * A great relaxation from the stressful routine * Splendid visuals * Nicolas Cage- a delicious treat for his fans * Good action
Flaws * Very predictable ending * Relationships lacking the intensity and depth * Nicolas Cage- the saving grace of the movie * Hard to be digested incidents like kidnapping the US president? Or a high-speed car chase in such a congested London? * Its just another sequel- nothing so special of its own * A weak script which needs to be overhauled * Injustice to such talented actors
Why should you go for this movie? As it is a light-hearted movie relaxing the stressed minds. Good direction with great visuals and dialogues and yes, with a great sense of adventure.
Overall, it is a wholesome entertaining package.
Critic Reviews * "...wears out its welcome pretty quickly." Los Angeles Times - Kevin Crust * "...a family-appropriate adventure saga that just wants to entertain, not break new ground." USA Today - Claudia Puig * "...generally less stimulating than yesterday's Sudoku." Variety - Justin Chang
