Based on the best seller novel of the same name by Chuck Palahniuk, ‘Choke’ is a comic representation dealing with intricate issues relating to mother-son relationship, conniving ways to earn money and sex. The novel is quite popular among the people and we have to wait for the release to find out if the director Clark Gregg is able to do justice to the interpretation of this best seller. The movie looks quite promising is one of the eagerly awaited comedies of this month especially by those who have read the book. Lets hope the movie just don’t ‘choke’ the audience!

Storyline/Synopsis: The story of ‘Choke’ revolves around a med-school drop out and sex addict Victor Mancini (Sam Rockwell), who in order to pay the bill of the treatment of his mother Ida Mancini (Anjelica Huston), chokes on the food pieces and befools some good-hearted rich and nice people to help him by making them feel responsible for his life. Victor cannot get into a stable relationship with any women and desire for sex makes him an addict. His habits include visiting the sexaholic recovery meetings and getting some action with the women in the bathroom. The story takes an intriguing twist when his mother reveals that there is something mysterious about his long lost father and also that Victor too has something uniquely distinct traits in him. With the help of his mother’s beautiful doctor Paige Marshall (Kelly MacDonald) and another sex addict friend Denny (Brad Henke), he decides to find out the truth. What are those unique characteristics? What are the hidden secrets? Who is his father? Would Victor be able to understand his reason for existence? Find out the mystery regarding Victor’s parents.
